Wonder vs. Indifference

Life can be a hard place, and beauty disrupts that. The outdoors connect us to something bigger than ourselves; they point to a Creator.

Creation testifies to the existence of God but does not force our heads to look.

Just as we are not forced to see the great wonders of nature, so it is with God. We can miss Him if we choose not to look. We can keep our heads down, going about the business of ourselves, and fail to see His grace around us. We can overlook His blessings that surround us if we choose not to pay attention.

Luke 5:26 tells us, “And amazement seized them all, and they glorified God and were filled with awe, saying, “We have seen extraordinary things today.”

God is there; He is just waiting for us to look up.
